Two years after taking office at Casa Rosada, President Javier Milei keeps high approval levels and consolidates his political position looking ahead. According to a survey by the consulting firm Poliarquía, 54% of Argentines approve of his administration, while 41% state that they would support him in a possible reelection bid in 2027.
The study also reveals that 42% of respondents give a positive assessment of the first half of the presidential term. This is a relevant figure in a context of deep reforms, fiscal adjustment, and state reorganization driven by the national government since December 2023. In addition, 50% of Argentines state that they are confident that 2026 will be a better year for the country, a sign of recovering expectations after years of stagnation.

Although support for a possible reelection is high, Poliarquía clarifies that it is below the level that Mauricio Macri had in 2017, when 51% supported his continuity. In Milei's case, rejection of a second candidacy reaches 48%, while 11% still haven't defined their position. That undecided segment appears as one of the main political challenges for the ruling party over the next two years.
