The United States government confirmed that it will significantly increase its security presence in Argentina. The measure includes more specialists, training and resources aimed at combating terrorism and organized crime.
The announcement was made by Thomas DiNanno, US Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, who highlighted the strategic alignment between President Donald Trump and Javier Milei in terms of security.
More presence of the FBI and the DEA in the country
The official confirmed that key agencies such as the FBI and the DEA are already actively involved in the country.
In addition, he anticipated that this presence will continue to grow. The cooperation will include training, technology, equipment and specialized personnel.
