ProArgentina and YPF are leading the Argentine landing in Houston to position the country as a key destination for energy investments.

This Monday, Argentina displayed its largest historic pavilion at OTC Houston 2026, the most important energy fair in the world, with the objective of attracting investment, opening new international businesses and consolidating the country's potential in the global energy sector.

National participation was led by the Argentine Agency for Investment Promotion and International Trade, ProArgentina, which for the first time shared space with YPF within the framework of a strategic alliance. The landing marks a leap in scale compared to previous editions and reflects the new climate of economic openness promoted by the Government of Javier

Milei.

The Argentine pavilion covers an area of 280 square meters and brings together more than 27 national companies, together with representatives from the provinces of Neuquén and Mendoza, two key districts for the country's energy development. The institutional and business presence aims to show international investors the opportunities offered by Argentina in hydrocarbons, technology, infrastructure and services related to energy

.

The executive president of ProArgentina, Diego Sucalesca, toured the space together with the CEO of YPF, Horacio Marín, and highlighted the growth in national participation. As he explained, in 2024, the Argentine pavilion had only 36 square meters and had few companies, a presence that failed to represent the magnitude of what was beginning to happen in

the country.

Sucalesca argued that the current context shows a different Argentina, more integrated with the world and with greater attractiveness for international investment. Along these lines, he linked this new scenario to the strategic agreements reached with the United States and to the progress of the agreement between Mercosur and the

European Union.

One of the central points of the presentation was the impact of the Incentive Regime for Large Investments, the RIGI, one of the Government's key tools for attracting long-term capital. Reportedly, the regime already has 13 energy projects worth about 27 billion dollars, equivalent to about 4% of GDP

The Argentine agenda in Houston is not limited to the fair. It also includes participation in the Energy Trade Mission, organized by the Argentina Texas Chamber of Commerce, with business rounds through the Energy B2B Matchmaking Program. In addition, ProArgentina scheduled technical visits to companies such as Tesla, Halliburton Labs, Honeywell, Precision and Oliden Technology, along with a tour

of NASA's Johnson Space Center.

With this deployment, Argentina once again presents itself as a competitive destination for investing in energy, with Vaca Muerta as a strategic asset, YPF as a central player and an incentive framework aimed at transforming resources into real development.
