The head of the senator block of La Libertad Avanza, Patricia Bullrich, staged a strong cross on social networks with the Buenos Aires Security Minister, Javier Alonso, after the violent robbery suffered by a 12-year-old boy in Tolosa, La Plata. The event, which was recorded by a security camera, once again exposed the serious crisis of insecurity that the province of Buenos Aires is going through under the management of Axel Kicillof
.
The attack occurred on Thursday around 6.30 in the morning, on 29th Street, between 529 and 530. The images show how a criminal, with his head covered by a diver's hood, intercepted the minor from behind, threw him to the floor and began to check his pockets. Then he stole his backpack and even the diver he was wearing, before
escaping.
According to a neighbor who saw the scene, the assailant fled with the help of an accomplice who was waiting for him on a motorcycle. The young man tried to chase him, but failed to reach him. Upon returning, he found the boy terrified by the situation and held him back after the
attack.
Faced with the case, Bullrich pointed directly at the Buenos Aires governor and his security minister. “And I don't understand. The useless Kicillof and his non-security minister see this, and it doesn't generate anything for them? Is a 12-year-old being violently robbed and saying that everything is fine? ”, he questioned
. The senator joined the wave of outrage on X (formerly Twitter).
The senator also remarked that in the province “they murder neighbors, steal at hand and do nothing”, and maintained that there are no consequences for criminals. Along these lines, he accused the Buenos Aires Government of protecting criminals and abandoning “good Argentines”. In addition, he closed with a direct political message: “A lot of campaigning and smiles, but the reality is today. Buenos Aires residents need security today
.” Javier Alonso, Axel Kicillof's “non-minister” of Security.
The minister came out to defend his administration and assured that the Province has “the highest levels of enlightenment in history”, in addition to stating that homicides were reduced. However, the case of the boy attacked on his way to school rekindled social alarm in La Plata and deepened criticism against the Kicillof administration
.
Meanwhile, neighbors continue to demand police presence, real prevention and a concrete response to an insecurity that no longer distinguishes age, time or area.
