President Daniel Noboa officially presented the “Youth in Action” program. This is a Government initiative that seeks to providenew opportunities to thousands of young Ecuadorians who have not been able to access higher education
.
With the objective of promoting the role of youth in Ecuador's social, economic and environmental development, the program will offer an economic transfer of USD 400 for three months. It will be for young people between 18 and 29 years old who meet a series of requirements.

The main purpose of the program is to support young people in their personal and professional improvement, in order to mitigate the economic, environmental and energy crises that the country is going through. Beneficiaries will be able to allocate this support to the realization of projects and initiatives that contribute to the well-being of society

“Youth in Action” is aimed at young people who are not affiliated with the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute, without a third-level degree,and who do not receive transfers from the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion.

The initiative, which has a state investment of approximately USD 96 million, will impact more than 175,000 Ecuadorian youth. This includes returned Ecuadorians who meet the established requirements

The call is administered by the National Secretariat for Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (Senescyt) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility. Registration was open until November 15.
The program seeks to strengthen the capacity of youth to take an active role in the transformation of the country. This reflects his talent and leadership as key elements for Ecuador's progress.
