58 days before the World Cup, Lionel Messi is once again in the news, although this time off the court: his official perfume, Messi The Fragrance Original, will arrive in Argentina almost two years after its global launch. Distribution in the country will begin on May 8, based on an agreement between the Messi Fragances brand and the company Arbell, an alliance that was officially announced in the
last few hours. The line is headed by Messi Original, the first fragrance in the collection, which was later expanded with variants such as Messi Sport (in its Red, Silver and Black versions) and the Messi Platinum edition, introduced in 2025.Each one points to different times of the day and styles, with different levels of intensity.
The main perfume was developed by renowned perfumer Frank Voelkl and is inspired by the personality of the Argentinian captain. According to his description, he seeks to reflect "a man who is much more than a football icon" and to capture his "humble but powerful" essence
