President Javier Milei announced that the Government will send to Congress a “Super RIGI”, an expanded version of the Incentive Regime for Large Investments that will seek to deepen the inflow of capital and expand productive sectors in the country.
The announcement was made through his social networks, where the president used an emphatic tone to anticipate the initiative: “Since we can't buy a B2 Spirit, I have no choice but to launch a MEGA BOMB from the presidential plane,” he joked.
“We will be sending to Congress a law on SUPER RIGI, which has greater advantages than the original RIGI and will apply to sectors that have never existed in Argentina,” the president anticipated.
Milei's message.
And he remarked: “In this way, new companies can be created that meet the productive needs of the new dynamic sectors of the economy while multiplying the number of jobs. SORCERESS. VLLC!
“
The proposal seeks to expand the scope of the current regime, incorporating new economic activities and offering even more favorable conditions to attract large scale investments
.
The central objective is to promote the creation of companies in emerging sectors, to energize the productive structure and to promote the generation of employment.

The success of Milei's RIGI
The announcement comes in a context where RIGI proved to be a total success.
So far, the government has approved nearly 13 projects under this scheme, with investment commitments of around USD 20 billion
.
These initiatives are mainly concentrated in strategic areas such as mining, energy and steel, and are distributed in eight provinces of the country.
In turn, the volume of investments could scale significantly in the short and medium term. If we consider the projects currently under evaluation, the total amount exceeds USD 100 billion, reflecting the strong interest that the regime has aroused among local and international investors
.
In terms of labor impact, the projections are also relevant. It is estimated that, if all the projects in the portfolio are completed, more than 144,000 direct and indirect jobs could be generated, consolidating RIGI as one of the main tools
for economic promotion.
The “Super RIGI” thus presents itself as a new phase in the Government's strategy to deepen economic opening and position Argentina as a competitive destination for global investments, expanding the productive horizon to sectors that until now had no development in the country.
