After the 2-1 win against Mauritania, the Argentine National Team will say goodbye to its audience at La Bombonera with a friendly match against the Zambian national team, at the close of the FIFA date in March.
In the run-up to the match, from the African group they made it clear that they did not travel alone to meet. Striker Kingstone Mutandwa was confident that he could deliver the coup: “We saw the game (against Mauritania). So we're discussing how we're going to play. From Argentina I can say that it's a very tactical team, it doesn't run but, of course, they have a lot of great players. This Tuesday we'll have to give 200%.”
Along the same lines, his teammate Chanka Zimba highlighted the magnitude of the challenge and the motivation it represents to face the world champion: “We were working in the stadium. It looks great. I want to be part of this game. Obviously we know that there is a great player on your team. But we can. We also have players who hurt. We are eager to represent Zambia well. And there's no better scenario than doing it against the world champion...”.
