While San Lorenzo is trying to return to institutional normality, the National Ministry of Security decided to apply an indefinite right of admission to more than 50 members of the barra "La Butteler", after a serious incident that occurred during a trip to Uruguay.
The incident took place in Gualeguaychú, Entre Ríos, when the bus that was transporting Ciclón fans to Montevideo, for a friendly against Cúcuta Deportivo, was intercepted on National Route No. 136, at kilometer 38. There, personnel from the Gendarmerie carried out a search that resulted in the seizure of narcotics and weapons.
According to reports, the procedure resulted in the seizure of doses of cannabis and cocaine, as well as a bladed weapon and a firearm. In particular, the officers found a Bersa Thunder 9-millimeter pistol hidden in the vehicle's air conditioning system, along with a magazine with 17 cartridges and fifteen rounds suitable for use.
The operation included the participation of agents from the General Directorate of Customs (ARCA-DGA) and the National Commission for Transport Regulation, and it is part of the recent creation of the Interjurisdictional Transfers Coordination Unit. This body aims to control the movement of fan groups between provinces and the movement of organized groups that attend matches abroad.
