At the Scientific and Technological Pole of Río Cuarto, the governor of Córdoba, Martín Llaryora, led the opening of the second edition of AgTech Week 2026, which will run until Thursday, August 13.
The event, established as the main agricultural innovation meeting in the interior of the country, is organized by the Agtech Cluster Río Cuarto with the support of the ProCórdoba Agency and the local Government.
On this occasion, the governor highlighted the growth of AgTech Week and stated that Río Cuarto "will quickly become not just one of the major AgTech cities in Argentina, but a Latin American hub."
He added: “This is a dream we have been nurturing for a long time and it has become a reality. Seeing the impact of organizing an international meeting of this magnitude in Río Cuarto is truly very important.”
Llaryora also emphasized that “this ecosystem spills over technology, income, and jobs”; and stated that the consolidation of the sector represents an opportunity for Río Cuarto to generate new investments and jobs.
AgTech Week 2026 in Río Cuarto
The 2026 edition aims to gather more than 2,500 participants and will bring together the main actors of the local, national, and international Agtech ecosystem, to establish Río Cuarto and its area of influence as a global reference hub in agricultural technology.
In this new edition, the agenda is structured around three axes: Technological Frontier, Opportunity Platform, and Clusters of the World, in order to promote the incorporation of artificial intelligence and new technologies that make agriculture more efficient and sustainable.
In detail, the meeting features 20 stands, 10 parallel events, and 12 international speakers, with a focus on linking agriculture with science, technology, industry, and private investment.
The lineup of speakers includes figures such as Germán Di Bella, Federico Boehler, Ricardo Garro, Mateo Salvatto, Guillermo Bort, Evandro Carmo Thiesen, Mariano Bosch, and Nicolás Aguzín.
Their presentations will be complemented by networking spaces aimed at startups and investment funds, sectors that the Government of Córdoba actively promotes as engines of regional progress.
