Official: Agustín Marchesín broke the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will be low for several months

The injury occurred 8 minutes into the first half, when the goalkeeper went out to cut a shot inside the box and, after rejoining, his right knee clearly gave way when he tried to stop a movement, causing a torsion that set off all the alarms.

Immediately, Marchesín threw himself to the floor and asked for medical assistance. While being treated, he was seen making the warning gesture and, as could be seen, he went so far as to say: “I broke my knee”.
