América TV cancels Pasó en América: What show will replace it
The decision to end the cycle is part of the channel's strategy to adjust its schedule and improve its audience
The programming of América TV continues to be constantly renewed, and in the last few hours, it was revealed that the channel decided to cancel "Pasó en América," the show hosted by Sabrina Rojas and Augusto Tartu Tartúfoli.
According to the specialized account @teleavisador on X, the program would end in late April, while the station is already evaluating possible replacements.
What program will occupy the "Pasó en América" slot?
The decision to cancel the show is part of the channel's strategy to adjust its schedule and improve its audience. According to the information released, América TV is already analyzing different alternatives to fill the time slot that the program will leave vacant. One of the options strongly considered is the return of "Sin Codificar", the popular comedy show that was once a success on the screen.

The program "Pasó en América" debuted in April 2024 with the aim of offering a summary of the most relevant topics of the day on the América TV channel. However, the show would not have achieved the expected results, leading to the decision of its cancellation.
Changes in weekend programming
Meanwhile, América TV is reorganizing its daily schedule and also preparing new features for the weekends. The host Denise Dumas confirmed in a conversation with MShow (Ciudad Magazine) her return to television with a program on Sunday afternoons.

"I'm very happy, it's going to be like those Sundays with a bit of everything, a kind of omnibus program", Dumas previewed. She also revealed that she will also be on TV Pública, where she will host an archive show and present films from the channel's archive.
Meanwhile, América TV is also considering the possibility of Marcela Tauro leading a new version of "Infama", in a renewed bet for the weekends.
