Beyond the irony, he concluded firmly: "The channel should also file a complaint against her, because it's where we work".

Morena Rial defended herself on her social media and targeted LAM

The media personality didn't take long to respond from her official Instagram account. She questioned the authenticity of the audios that were released.

"The lack of seriousness of some journalists who replicate audios from a prisoner in Uruguay just to tarnish my name", she wrote.

Morena's legal response

Morena stated that the audios were sold and that they are "completely false". She also revealed that she has already asked her lawyer, Alejandro Cipolla, to initiate legal actions.

"The journalists who endorse this falsehood will be sued", she warned.
