After filling two Ferro stadiums, selling out tickets, and announcing a new date for December, Miranda! fans received the most unexpected news: according to Ángel De Brito, the most influential pop duo of the last two decades will separate... at least for a while.
The host of LAM (América TV) confirmed that the group made up of Ale Sergi and Juliana Gattas will take an extended break and that the performance scheduled for December would be the last before disappearing from the stage until 2027.
The information came to light after a promotional flyer circulated warning: "Last show until 2027."
Miranda! no volverá a los escenarios hasta 2027
Although the material was reportedly quickly removed by the duo's team, it was already too late: the bomb had been dropped.
"Miranda!'s separation is confirmed until further notice," De Brito stated live.
"Next year Miranda! won't be on stage", he emphasized regarding the singers' commitments.
What would be the reasons for Miranda!'s separation?
So far, neither Ale Sergi nor Juliana Gattas have spoken publicly. However, Ángel De Brito went further and hinted at a version that set off all the alarms.
According to the host, there would be personal and professional differences between the members of the group.
"I hope it's to make new music, but another version I have is that Ale Sergi is fed up with Juliana," he said bluntly.
He then explained: "He is super neat, super structured. She is more absent-minded, she's on a different wavelength. In fact, it was noticeable at Saturday's show."
The statement caused an immediate stir and created a rift among the fans: some point out that the duo's chemistry has always been their strength, while others admit to having noticed some tension live.
Another reason would be that 2025 had them very close not only on stage, but also creating music with current artists such as Tini Stoessel, María Becerra, and Emilia Mernes.
Then on Telefe's screen, working side by side at full capacity for La Voz. This combination of spending almost the entire week together would have caused friction they were not used to.
