Ángel de Brito got involved in the controversy over the Martín Fierro de Streaming, following the conflict that arose between Luzu TV and Olga regarding the announcement of the award categories. The host analyzed the issue on Intrusos (América TV) and directly targeted Nico Occhiato.
"Martín Fierro awards are always contentious, and this wasn't going to be the exception," said De Brito, referring to the clashes between the main channels in the streaming world. According to the host, digital platforms repeat the same tensions that used to be seen on television.

De Brito's opinion on the conflict between Luzu and Olga
In his analysis, De Brito stated that if he were a producer, he would have started by having Olga and Luzu as the main figures. "They should've called Luzu first, because they're the two most important channels. Still, I don't think it's that serious that they were notified last about the categories, but Nico Occhiato thinks everything is against him," he said.
The host added that streamers"are always hanging on to television." He criticized their discourse against traditional media: "I don't think it's wrong, but they talk as if broadcast television were the last rung of hell."

De Brito also revealed who he considers his favorite to win the top award. "I think Nico should win the Gold and his category as host," he stated. He also compared his profile to that of Migue Granados: "Migue is a bit more considerate, he's in a different mindset, but Nico is still angry, he gets criticized a lot, and several talents were stolen from him," he said.
The journalist concluded with a statement that sparked reactions: "The only thing I hope is that Olga doesn't win everything; in my opinion, Luzu deserves it," he said.

The Martín Fierro de Canales de Streaming ceremony will be held on December 14 at the Centro de Convenciones de Buenos Aires. The event will be broadcast by Telefe and Olga, with more than 25 categories recognizing the best content and figures in the Argentine digital ecosystem.
