This feature marks a difference from OpenAI's voice mode, which updated its conversational style but still cannot use external tools to complete tasks.

Multilingual support in Claude's voice mode
Earlier this year, Anthropic added multilingual support to Claude's voice mode, currently in beta. Users can speak in different languages, although they must specify it manually.
At the moment, the company offers support for English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (from Brazil), and Spanish (from Latin America and Spain).

The new voice mode is available in beta for all users across various platforms. However, free users will be restricted to the Haiku model, with only one connected application.
