Brake on influencers: Boca modified the subscriber regulations and prohibited generating content from La Bombonera

Boca Juniors updated the conditions governing its members and subscribers this Friday. The modification that attracted the most attention is related to the use of seats within La Bombonera to create content intended for social media.

The new regulation establishes that subscribers will not be able to produce content for social media or carry out radio, television, or any other type of broadcasts from their assigned seat, unless they have exceptional authorization from the club.

The measure is outlined in section B of article 7, which pertains to the prohibitions and obligations of subscribers.

What penalty can a Boca subscriber receive?

The regulation also determines what the consequences could be for those who violate this provision. According to the document, Boca can cancel the subscription without the member having the right to receive compensation.

Additionally, the Board of Directors may request the intervention of the Disciplinary Tribunal to initiate a summary against the involved subscriber.

Therefore, those who have a seat or box in the stadium should keep in mind that generating content or conducting broadcasts from those locations could result in the loss of their subscription.

New system to reserve seats in La Bombonera

The update to the regulation also includes changes in the use of subscriptions for the matches that Boca plays at home.

Starting from the match against Lanús, scheduled for Friday, August 28, holders must confirm their attendance with a maximum notice of one day before each match through the Boca Socios app.

If the subscriber cannot attend or decides not to use their seat, they will have the option to release it through the Solidarity Subscription.

This mechanism will allow another member to occupy the available seat, while the subscription holder ensures that their seat does not remain empty.
