In the midst of the legal proceedings for the death of Melchor Rodrigo, who tragically died in a fire at Felipe Pettinato's house, Roberto Pettinato made strong statements about the doctor. During an interview on Intrusos (América), the host stated that he never liked the professional and described him as "a strange guy" who "gave pills" to his son Felipe.

His remarks caused outrage in Rodrigo's family. In an interview with Desayuno Americano (América), Hernán Rodrigo, the deceased doctor's brother, replied forcefully.

Melchor's brother rejected Pettinato's words and recalled that it is not the first time the host has made unfortunate statements about the case. "For three years we've been hearing things that were very upsetting, not only to our family but to everyone," he stated.

He also questioned Pettinato's lack of empathy. "He doesn't even consider that Melchor is no longer here to respond. We lost my brother because of his son and the fire in his apartment," he affirmed.

Hernán made a special reference to the doctor's mother: "He should reflect on respect. My mother had to receive the Federal Police at five in the morning to identify her son's body," he said with pain.

Regarding the relationship between his brother and Pettinato's son, Hernán made it clear that the bond was not good. "If he wants to talk about the subject, let him do it, but the reality is that Melchor couldn't stand him," he assured.

He also questioned Pettinato's role in Felipe's life. "He was never present in his treatment or to help with the costs, but Melchor never abandoned him," he emphasized.

Finally, Hernán Rodrigo sent a direct message to the host: "If he continues making these kinds of comments, he will receive responses," he concluded.
