Amid the anguish over the delicate state of health of Thiago Medina, his sister Camila Deniz, popularly known as Camilota, shared news that brought a glimmer of hope. According to her account on the show Cortá por Lozano (Telefe), the 22-year-old may have had a subtle but significant reaction upon hearing her voice during one of the visits in intensive care.
"I went to see him and he has a glow, you can see it. He is bedridden, but he hears us. I spoke to him and he would blink and wink at me. I told him the babies are waiting for him, that Dani is waiting for him, that we are united and that we have many plans," she said, visibly moved on air.
The testimony moved not only the show's panel but also the followers of the former Gran Hermano contestant, who have been following minute-by-minute updates on his health for days. Thiago remains hospitalized at Hospital Mariano y Luciano de la Vega de Moreno, with his lungs compromised and a condition that continues to be critical and with a guarded prognosis.

The vigil was canceled out of respect for the medical situation
This small gesture from Thiago, interpreted by his family as a conscious reaction, comes in a context of high emotional sensitivity. In recent hours, his loved ones had organized a collective vigil in front of the hospital, with the aim of sending strength and spiritual support.
However, in a statement released on social media, the family announced that the vigil was suspended, initially to avoid crowds that could interfere with the hospital's operations and at the request of the young man's closest circle.

"We deeply appreciate every message, prayer, and gesture of love. We know that Thiago feels that energy. For now, the most important thing is to safeguard his recovery in peace," they stated.
This tense atmosphere was also heightened by the words of a media psychic, who days earlier suggested that Thiago "had little time left" and that he might face a tracheotomy and bilateral pneumonia. The statements were quickly condemned on social media by fans and public figures, who considered it in poor taste to make such conjectures without medical backing and amid the family's pain.
