Carmen Barbieri starred in a moving closing on the last broadcast of Mañanísima (El Trece), where she had to hold back tears as she said goodbye to the show. The host thanked the opportunity to have been part of the show and made it clear that it was not a definitive goodbye, but a "see you soon."

A farewell full of gratitude and emotion

During the broadcast, Barbieri watched an emotional video that compiled the most memorable moments of the show. At the end, she expressed her gratitude toward the team and the audience. "Thank you all. You gave me a huge gift that I can't show because it's too big," she commented.

Visibly moved, the host highlighted the support received throughout the show. "I really love you all very much and I'm very grateful. You thought of me, you called me... I can pay off my debts! I don't have any, thank God," she exclaimed with joy.

"I cry with emotion because this doesn't end"

Barbieri gave her team space to say goodbye and, in response to the emotional words of her colleagues, she confessed: "You're going to make me cry." Then, she reflected on her career and the connection with the audience. "It's because the people choose me, because they say yes to me and I'm popular. I wasn't going to cry, but I cry with emotion because this doesn't end for me," she assured.

Before concluding, she clarified that her work will continue and that the end of the show did not mean a definitive farewell. "This continues, it continues all the time. I live from this. For me, it's not a 'goodbye,' it's a 'see you soon,'" she stated.

Finally, the host reiterated her gratitude to the audience and the channel. "Thank you very much. We will toast after the show. Thank you truly to the viewer, to those who choose us and wait for each broadcast," she concluded with an emotional farewell message.

Why Carmen Barbieri's show was canceled

At the end of January, the channel authorities informed the former vedette that the show Mañanísima would not continue in 2025. This news surprised the host who was sure of its continuity.

Amid reports that revealed the situation was scandalous, the show's producer, Esteban Farfán explained: "The channel chose to make adjustments in the programming, not only in Mañanísima, and decided to end the show at the beginning of March. Carmen understood this decision perfectly, as it is something common in television, shows start and end. She is very grateful; until yesterday she was willing to continue until the end, but today she informed us that she will not do the show in February," he had clarified.
