Cerimedo began to explain the reasons behind "his alleged participation in a conspiracy" to achieve the "violent overthrow of the democratic state" and prevent Lula Da Silva from taking office.

In this context, the businessman wanted to comment that the role of the armed forces is to certify the counts.
