Cholo Simeone celebrated his 55th in Naples with a walk, barbecue, and family dinner.
The Atlético de Madrid coach enjoyed an intimate celebration surrounded by his loved ones in Italy
Diego "El Cholo" Simeone celebrated his 55th birthday in Italy, accompanied by his wife Carla Pereyra and their children. Atlético de Madrid's coach chose Naples as the destination for his celebration, a city he walked from end to end during a day dedicated to relaxation, memories, and family bonding.
After traveling on a private plane, the Simeone family arrived in Naples to stroll through its streets and relive the memory of two iconic figures: Diego Maradona and Pope Francis. The images weren't shared by Simeone himself, but by his wife and his son Giuliano, who posted a gallery of special moments on social media.

In the morning, Diego and Carla shared a family photo with their daughters Francesca and Valentina. Later, Giuliano Simeone and his partner, Irene Ariza, joined to visit symbolic sites of the Italian city.

Argentinian-style barbecue and closing dinner
One of the highlights was an impromptu barbecue by El Cholo with his sons Giuliano and Giovanni. The three lit a fire in the best Argentinian style, enjoyed homemade food, and posed smiling for Carla's camera.

In the evening, the celebration continued with an intimate dinner at an elegant restaurant. There, Diego posed with all his children and his wife, in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. On the table, a cake stood out with a phrase that reflected the spirit of the celebration: "And if a curve comes, accelerate."
Although he lives in Madrid, established as the coach of the team where Rodrigo De Paul plays, Simeone chose to celebrate his new year surrounded by affection and in a destination filled with football significance.
