Concern for La Locomotora Oliveras's health: she remains in serious condition with no improvement
According to Bruno Moroni, director of the hospital where she is located, the former boxer's neurological condition is critical and the prognosis is guarded
One week after the ischemic stroke that left her hospitalized in an emergency, Alejandra "Locomotora" Oliverasremains in critical condition, with no clear signs of improvement.
The latest medical report released by the director of Hospital José María Cullen, Bruno Moroni, confirmed that the former boxer from Jujuy remains under constant neurological evaluation and with a guarded prognosis.

In recent days, there had been a slight improvement that prompted an emergency surgery, after a clinical change was detected in a CT scan. However, the procedure failed to reverse the situation or improve her chances of recovery. Since then, the medical team has remained cautious and avoids providing details about her brain evolution.
"The situation is very dynamic and neurological parameters are being evaluated on a permanent basis," Moroni explained, who emphasized that Oliveras's condition is delicate. When asked about a possible attempt to remove the ventilator over the weekend, the doctor chose not to answer, which increases concern about her situation.
Off the record, medical sources acknowledge that the situation is very serious and with little chance of reversal, although officially they insist that it is a complex process with constant changes. Uncertainty dominates Oliveras's inner circle and also her followers, who await encouraging news while the entire country waits in support.

An iconic figure in Argentine boxing and five-time world champion, La Locomotora won the public's affection both for her sports career and her charisma. Her fight now is against one of the toughest challenges of her life, in a battle being fought outside the ring where hope still endures.
What happened to La Locomotora?
A week ago, Oliveras was preparing to attend a debate on the reform of the Santa Fe Constitution, since she had been chosen to participate in that event. However, when she woke up she did not feel well and that raised the alarm. Accompanied by her son, she decided to go to the hospital, not imagining that she would be urgently referred and hospitalized after suffering a stroke that would change the course of her life.
The first symptoms were clear: paralysis on one side of the body and speech difficulties. According to the medical team, the stroke may have originated the previous night due to a clot that caused the blockage.
Later, an edema with cerebral hypertension further complicated the outlook and forced the doctors to perform surgery. Since then, her condition has remained critical and without positive progress. The only thing working in her favor, according to specialists, is her excellent physical condition, the result of years of sports, which allows her to endure this tough battle.
