While covering the Argentine National Team alongside Nico Occhiato, Giles ran into a group of friends and decided to interview them. One of them sent a greeting to Timbúes, Santa Fe, for his sister who is a fan of the show. Amid laughter, the host asked if it was for someone special from that province, and Giles added his comment.
But what started as a relaxed conversation ended in scandal. When he said “For Cande, I love you,” the influencer made a gesture with his finger in his mouth, moving his tongue suggestively and dancing, something that seems to have not been well received by Ángela Torres.

The video went viral quickly and reached the Luzu studio, where Ángela Torres and her colleagues' response could be seen. At first, the singer laughed along with the others, but minutes later her attitude changed. She turned sideways to the camera, wiped her eyes with her finger as if drying tears, and showed clear signs of discomfort and sadness.
This new episode reignited criticism towards Giles, who was already coming off a complicated moment in his relationship. It all recalls the incident on June 11, when during a stream he shared his screen and accidentally revealed a private conversation with Torres on WhatsApp Web.
In those chats, the artist expressed her frustration about having been alone all month. “I’ve simply been alone here all month. I was hoping you would come at least one night to sleep with me,” she wrote. Additionally, she mentioned that she understood his work but that in an entire month, he could have organized to spend time together.
The streamer tried to close the window quickly and clarified that he was “perfect” and “clean,” but the damage was already done. Social media exploded sharing the content and analyzing the couple's issues.
