After the launch of L’Étape Argentina by Tour de France 2026, which will take place in Córdoba on Sunday, March 22, the president of the Provincial Sports Security Council (Cosedepro), Marcelo Frossasco, called an operational coordination meeting, with the objective of setting the final organizational details related to security for this event within the capital city.
On Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21 there will be preliminary activities at the Fair Complex with the pickup of race kits, brand stands, sale and exhibition of cycling-related products, with free parking for participants and the general public
On Sunday the 22nd -race day- authorities will proceed, progressively and temporarily, with the closure of different sections of city avenues and of highways where the competition will take place in order to ensure the safety of about 3,000 participants.
All these interruptions to vehicular traffic will be reported with due notice.
During the meeting, the authorities confirmed that the security operation coordination center will operate in the Convention Center of the Fair Complex under the responsibility of authorities from the Police Directorate of Preventive Planning and Design.
