The hours keep passing, and the anguish grows for the family of Lian Flores Soraide, the three-year-old boy who disappeared in the small town of Ballesteros Sud in Córdoba while his parents were resting.
The investigation progresses with great secrecy, and although several hypotheses are being analyzed, none have a firm basis to determine whether the boy accidentally got lost in the field or if he was a victim of kidnapping.
The prosecution, led by investigator Isabel Reyna, ordered the intervention of various devices, including a dozen cell phones and three trucks that will be examined in the coming days.
The strongest hypothesis being considered is that of a possible kidnapping, related to a white truck, which according to a local resident, was seen in the area shortly after the boy's disappearance.

The case is under gag order to prevent the manipulation of clues. However, unofficial information circulated on Monday indicating that a blue pair of shorts, the same the boy was wearing before he disappeared, had been found, although this information has not yet been confirmed by the authorities.
Meanwhile, the prosecution continues to take statements from Lian's family members, including his siblings, who were interviewed in a Gesell Chamber by a team of psychologists.
Additionally, police officers continue the searches in the rural area of Ballesteros Sud, with the support of trained dogs, drones, helicopters, horses, and foot patrols. However, all operations carried out so far have not yielded positive results.
The disappearance
Lian, son of Bolivian parents, is the second youngest of six siblings, and until the date of his disappearance, he lived with his family in a modest home on the outskirts of Ballesteros Sud.
This small town is characterized by its low population and being an area where agricultural and construction activities, such as the manufacturing of mud bricks, are carried out by several Bolivian immigrants residing in the place.
On the day of the disappearance, the oppressive heat, which exceeded 40 degrees, led Lian's parents to rest in the afternoon. It was upon waking up, around 3:30 PM, that they realized the boy was not in his house.

They immediately began searching for him throughout the property, as the land is not fenced or enclosed, which facilitated his exit to the field. Not finding him, they searched the area on foot and in vehicles, but they could not locate him.
In this context, a rarely mentioned hypothesis emerges, related to Bolivian rituals, which could potentially explain the situation.
Within Bolivian communities, "Pachamama rituals" are very common, ceremonies performed to "thank Mother Earth" and "ask for protection," through the payment of a "tribute."
Many times, these types of events are used by criminals or murderers who kidnap young people to "offer them." For example, a few months ago, two men were sentenced to prison in Bolivia for the disappearance of a woman, whom they murdered, buried, and "offered to Pachamama."
Although this is just a hypothesis, the local community remains concerned about the mystery surrounding this disappearance and hopes that the efforts of the police and judicial authorities can clarify what happened.
