Donald Trump handed Elon Musk the golden key to the White House.
The President of the United States thanked him for his tremendous work leading the Department of Government Efficiency
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, confirmed the already scheduled departure of Elon Musk during a press conference held this Friday, where he expressed his gratitude "for his unbelievable service" as head of the Department of Government Efficiency, known as DOGE, and indicated that they will possibly continue collaborating intermittently.
Additionally, Trump presented Musk with the golden key to the White House, inside a box adorned with the emblem, which he described as a "special gift."
"Elon provided unbelievable service. There is no one like him. He had to endure adversity, which is a shame because he is an unbelievable patriot," Trump emphasized when referring to the successful entrepreneur.

The U.S. President also described Elon Musk as "one of the greatest business leaders and innovators the world has ever produced" and congratulated him for "stepping up to put his talent to work for our nation" as head of the Department of Government Efficiency, known as DOGE.
Meanwhile, Musk, wearing a cap with the DOGE logo and a t-jersey with the phrase "The Dogefather," stated that this "was not the end of DOGE, but the beginning," and promised that the team "will continue to grow stronger."
He also stated that he will continue attending the White House and performing duties as advisor to the American president.

The magnate, owner of Tesla, SpaceX, and the social network X, was appointed to lead the newly created DOGE with the mission of reducing public spending through layoffs of public employees and the elimination of unnecessary expenses in the federal administration. During his tenure, Musk also implemented significant cuts in U.S. programs, which were used by Joe Biden's administration to fund outrageous initiatives such as LGBT shows around the world.
After just a few weeks at the helm of the new Department, current DOGE reports estimate that about 175 billion dollars have already been cut and saved.
From the Oval Office, Musk told the press: "We expect that over time a trillion dollars will be saved. Let's say that by the middle of next year, with presidential support, we will be able to achieve it."
