The President of the United States, Donald Trump, held an extensive phone conversation with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and later spoke with the leaders of NATO, after concluding his meeting with Russian President Alaska Vladimir Putin, the White House reported.
The calls were made during his return flight to Washington, where he landed in the early hours of Saturday. According to the spokesperson for Ursula von der Leyen, the head of the European Commission participated in the communication, in which Trump offered a summary to the European leaders about the meeting with Putin.
From NATO, an official confirmed that Secretary General Mark Rutte also joined, while it was reported that French President Emmanuel Macron was also present. According to the European Commission, the leaders of Germany, Finland, Poland, Italy, and United Kingdom also took part in the conference.

Axios journalist Barak Ravid, citing a source who participated in the conversations, indicated that President Trump spoke for more than 90 minutes with Zelensky and the European leaders. Subsequently, Zelensky announced that on Monday he will travel to Washington.
