The Egyptian embassy in the US faced violent pro-Palestinian protesters.
Far-left agitators are demanding that Egypt show greater support for the Palestinians
Employees of the Egyptian embassy in New York, United States, faced a violent group of antisemitic pro-Palestinian protesters and detained them until the police arrived, as seen in videos shared on social media.
One of the videos shows embassy employees pushing two protesters into the building and apparently striking them. In other recordings, two anti-Israel activists appear to be removed from the scene by police officers after the incident.
At this time, it is unclear what specifically triggered this confrontation, but it is suspected that it may have been provoked by the protesters themselves, who are known for their violent actions during protests.

Local sources state that these activist groups frequently protest in front of the Egyptian embassy, demanding that the country take a more active role in supporting the Palestinian cause, Hamas terrorism, and opposing Israel.
The episode comes just days after the leak of a video in which Egypt's Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, strongly criticized his nation's ambassador to the Netherlands, stating that diplomatic staff should show greater firmness toward those who protest in front of diplomatic missions.

In the leaked video, the Egyptian minister is heard urging ambassadors to "deal harshly" with political activists, even detaining them inside embassies until they are handed over to local police.
Protests around the UN have intensified in the weeks leading up to the organization's upcoming General Assembly. The demonstrations are organized by Within Our Lifetime, a far-left pro-Palestinian group that openly promotes the violent destruction of Israel and the murder of Jews.
In addition to Israel, the demonstrations also target the diplomatic missions of Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Türkiye.
