Facundo Manes Waited More Than an Hour to Report Santiago Caputo but Couldn't
Deputy Pablo Juliano also waited another hour to file the complaint but had to leave without being attended to.
Yesterday, the left-wing bloc Democracy Forever attempted to file a complaint against the presidential advisor Santiago Caputo for alleged "threats" and "acts of violence" against the radical deputy Facundo Manes.
However, upon arriving at the Chamber of Deputies' police station, they had to wait more than an hour and, unable to find available police officers to take the complaint, they couldn't file it.
The legislator Pablo Juliano, head of the bloc, also went to the Congress police station around 11:30 PM. Nevertheless, after waiting approximately an hour and a half more, he was forced to leave without being able to formalize the accusation.

The incident
According to reports, the episode occurred yesterday during the Legislative Assembly, where President Javier Milei gave a speech. In that context, the presidential advisor had approached Deputy Manes to talk.
However, after the conversation with Caputo, Manes appeared before journalists and claimed that supposedly people close to Santiago Caputo had punched him "twice": "Someone came and punched me twice." Nevertheless, as videos on social media show, it turned out to be false.

Additionally, the radical also claimed to the media that he was supposedly "threatened" by the president's advisor. However, there is no evidence of this, and it is possibly a lie or exaggeration by Manes.
"Here's the proof of how deceitful Manes is and how trashy the journalists are who tried to make this a scandal," President Milei wrote early Sunday morning, referring to the two pats that Deputy Manes received.
"They were just a couple of pats, and he already started crying," users expressed on social media. In the videos posted on social media, you can see Caputo giving him two pats on the chest, something very different from the supposed "two punches" claimed by the radical deputy.
Meanwhile, the Congress Security area communicated that the recordings will be available starting tomorrow.
