The Fort family's internal affairs have once again been exposed in recent weeks and have revealed a conflict that affects both the personal and business spheres. Ricardo Fort's nephews spoke out publicly against Eduardo Fort, the current president of the company, and demanded that they be allowed to work within the historic family business. In parallel, Martita Fort acknowledged that there are deep tensions between them and described the situation as "complicated."

The conflict gained greater visibility after Thomas and John Fort reported alleged workplace abuse and claimed that Eduardo prevented them from returning to the factory. According to their account, the relationship broke down when they tried to rejoin the company after the death of their grandfather, a key figure in the history of the family group.

"My uncle found out that I was going to rejoin and, a week later, he sent me a dismissal telegram signed by him as president. As a result of that, the doors of the company were closed to me", said John Fort, who insisted again months later with his claim and was even more forceful about the current situation of the family business.

In that regard, Martita's cousin asserted that his request is not linked to an economic issue, but to the legacy. "My claim is to be able to be part of the company, but not because of an economic issue, but because it is the most beautiful legacy that the Fort family has. I care about the future, being able to grow and take the company to a multinational level", he stated.

John also questioned the direction that, according to him, the company took after his grandfather's death. "Since my grandfather died, the company is not doing well", he said, and he clarified that his intention was never to occupy a managerial role, but to collaborate in the commercial area. "I do not want to sign or be in management. The one who signs doesn't want to. My dad tried to get me into the factory, but the president said no. They do not give me explanations, there is only a no", he stated.

The statements escalated when John pointed directly at Eduardo Fort and also at Rocío Marengo, the businessman's partner. "Eduardo has the wet dream of keeping the entire factory, which is why he runs it down until he puts financial pressure on them so that they give it to him. He wants to bankrupt the company so that he can then make it grow himself", he claimed, and he accused his uncle's inner circle of wanting to damage the brand.

In the same vein, he described the family's internal affairs bluntly: "It is a complicated family, in which egos outweigh bonds", a phrase that, according to him, coincides with the view that his cousin Marta also has about the conflict.

John Fort also explained how his personal relationship with Eduardo broke down. "I got along very well with him while he got along badly with my dad, until he started doing things to my dad and my brother, and deliberately neglecting the factory", he recounted. According to his testimony, his brother was also pushed aside: "He shut down all his access to the company and he ended up leaving."
