The Federal Police arrested three thieves for killing an 18-year-old girl in Moreno.

Officers from the Homicide Division of the Argentine Federal Police (PFA) managed to arrest three criminals accused of the murder of an 18-year-old young woman in Moreno, which occurred last December.

During the procedures, two motorcycles with a seizure request and five cell phones were also recovered, in addition to other relevant elements for the case.

The murder

The tragic episode took place on December 13, 2024, when the victim was riding a motorcycle with her 17-year-old boyfriend and, upon reaching the intersection of Avenida de la Ribera and Santa Teresa, in the town of La Reja, they were intercepted by six criminals riding three motorcycles.

The strikers assaulted the couple, causing both to fall to the ground. As a result of the assailants' attack, the young woman suffered a severe abdominal injury that, despite having been surgically treated, caused her death.

After the crime, the Functional Unit of Instruction and Trial of the Judicial Department Moreno - General Rodríguez entrusted the Homicide Division with the investigation of the case.

Through intelligence work, analysis of recordings, social networks, and telecommunications data, the investigators managed to identify the alleged perpetrators, who were part of a criminal organization dedicated to the theft and alteration of motorcycles.

With the evidence obtained, the Guarantees Court No. 2 ordered the execution of seven raids in the town of Merlo, where the capture of three men aged 22, 25, and 28 was finally achieved.

During the operations, four motorcycles (two with a seizure request), clothing used in the attack, mobile phones, and other objects of interest were seized.

Due to the dangerousness of the detainees, the raids were supported by the Special Federal Operations Group (GEOF). The apprehended individuals were placed at the disposal of justice under the charge of "Murder during a robbery".
