The 23-year-old Argentine driver once again demonstrated his ability to gain positions at the start. At the beginning of the Belgian Grand Prix, Colapinto overtook Pierre Gasly and Gabriel Bortoleto in the fastest sector of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, making the most of his car's performance and his precision at the wheel.

Minutes later, the Buenos Aires native also benefited from an incident involving George Russell, which allowed him to advance another position and complete an ideal start at one of the most challenging tracks on the Formula 1 calendar.

After the great start, Colapinto maintained a competitive pace throughout the race and managed to keep his place in the points zone thanks to a remarkable defensive effort in the final stretch.

The Argentine crossed the finish line in tenth place, a result that allowed him to earn one point for the championship and wrap up a positive weekend with Alpine.

His teammate, Pierre Gasly, finished immediately behind in 11th place and was left out of the scoring zone.

Colapinto's performance reaffirms the good moment he is experiencing in the top category of motorsport. His ability to capitalize on the start, manage race pace, and defend his position was once again evident in Belgium, where he secured a valuable point at one of the most iconic circuits on the calendar.

The race held at Spa-Francorchamps brought significant changes to the Drivers' Championship standings. Although Andrea Kimi Antonelli remains at the top of the table with 204 points, Lewis Hamilton took a key step by placing second with 159 points, reducing the gap with the leader.

The third place went to George Russell, who has accumulated 154 points, while Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris complete the Top 5 after another round of the calendar.

Meanwhile, Sergio "Checo" Pérez is still unable to score in his first season with Cadillac and remains in 21st place in the championship.
