Guillermo Francella dropped out of 'La cena de los tontos,' one of the most anticipated plays of 2025
Guillermo Francella surprised everyone by announcing that he was withdrawing from one of the most anticipated theatrical events of 2025.
The news was revealed on Thursday by the hosts of Intrusos, Rodrigo Lussich and Adrián Pallares.
According to Intrusos, Francella left the production of "La cena de los tontos" just before its premiere.
Although he was initially announced as one of the main figures, he decided to step down at the last moment.
At first, Guillermo Francella had agreed to be the godfather of the production and participate in the initial images. However, when the play was about to premiere, he asked not to be included in the credits, leaving the producers quite surprised.
The play premiered on March 20 at Teatro El Nacional, featuring Martín Bossi, Mike Amigorena, and Laurita Fernández. The comedy is directed by Marcos Carnevale and produced by big names in the Argentine scene.
