The actor addressed the issue when a reporter from Los Profesionales (El Nueve) mentioned his colleague's remarks. Although Francella appeared happy about his current projects, he didn't hide a certain discomfort when asked.

On Mitre Live, Rizzo was blunt: "I don't like Guillermo Francella as an actor, he's efficient but not talented". He also stated that he has more respect for performers such as Jorge Marrale, Miguel Ángel Solá, and Pepe Soriano.

His remarks caused an immediate reaction and reopened the debate about the career of the star of El Encargado, one of the most-watched Argentine series in recent years.

During August, Moria Casán was asked about Francella's work in the film Homo Argentum during a live segment with Intrusos (América). True to her style, she surprised everyone by admitting that she doesn't closely follow the actor's career.
