Aldosivi is without a coach following their elimination against Independiente Rivadavia in the 2026 Copa Argentina. The result meant the elimination of the “Tiburón” from the national tournament and accelerated the management's decision to part ways with Israel Damonte.
Damonte took over in March but never managed to turn around the team's complicated situation. During his tenure, he coached 14 matches, with a record of just one win, five draws, and eight losses.
The only victory came in a particularly significant match: Aldosivi surprised River Plate 3-1 in the round of 32 of the Copa Argentina. However, that result was not enough to offset an overall campaign that ended up being very negative.

The management will need to define Damonte's successor in the coming days, with the urgency of finding a leadership capable of pulling Aldosivi out of a delicate sporting situation.
