Unable to express herself, her lawyer spoke and explained the expectations surrounding the trial. Then, Ojeda could only thank those who joined her and nod when asked if she was looking forward to this day.

The confrontation between Verónica Ojeda and Agustina Cosachov

One of the most tense moments of the day occurred when Ojeda encountered psychiatrist Agustina Cosachov, one of the main defendants in the case.

Upon seeing her enter the courthouse, Ojeda did not hesitate to shout: "Murderer, come and face us!" The scene took place as both climbed the stairs to the room where the hearings will be held until July.

It is worth remembering that Cosachov is accused of "simple homicide with eventual intent", a crime that carries sentences of 8 to 25 years in prison.

Additionally, Dalma and Gianinna Maradona were also present at the hearing, choosing not to make statements to the press.

Mario Baudry's words about the trial

Upon entering the courthouse, Mario Baudry expressed his satisfaction with the start of the trial. He highlighted the importance of the process and the difficulty of reaching this stage.
