Honda strengthens its motorcycle production in the country and aims to increase exports
The brand will manufacture 145,000 motorcycles in 2025, add new models, and expand its presence in the regional market
Honda Argentina has confirmed that it will increase its motorcycle production by 30% during the next fiscal year.
The brand, which is about to celebrate 50 years in the country, aims to approach its historical record and strengthen its position as a regional export hub.

An ambitious goal: 145,000 motorcycles per year
Between April 2025 and March 2026, Honda plans to reach an annual production of 145,000 units. This represents a significant increase compared to the current volume.
This figure is close to the historical peak of 2013, when the brand manufactured 159,000 motorcycles in the country.
Local production: one motorcycle per minute
The plant located in Campana produces nine different models, which account for 97% of its domestic sales.

There, about 600 units are manufactured daily, at a rate of one motorcycle per minute, on three production lines.
Honda has already surpassed one and a half million motorcycles manufactured
Since 2006, the plant has produced more than 1.5 million units, consolidating its leadership in the local market over the past six years.

In total, they have manufactured 33 different models in Argentine territory.
Which models dominate sales?
The Honda Wave remains the brand's workhorse, representing half of the units produced. The XRE family and the Tornado 300 also stand out, with the latter accounting for 15% of its segment.
News and launches planned for 2025
For next year, Honda aims to strengthen its presence in the mid- and high-end segments with new models such as:
- Honda Transalp
- CB350 H’ness
- CB500 Hornet
In addition, they will keep motorcycle and car prices unchanged during July. They have launched a 0% interest financing plan for the XR300L Tornado, in partnership with Banco Santander.

Market share in Argentina
In 2024, Honda achieved 23% of the new motorcycle market and 30% of the used market, with more than 100,000 units registered.
The total market projected for this year is around 600,000 units, with year-on-year growth of 50% at the end of the first half.
