The discovery of a dismembered body on a street in La Tablada shocked the neighbors and opened an investigation that is progressing with several arrests.
The corpse was found with signs of torture and mutilations. Security cameras allowed the reconstruction of part of the route taken by those involved.
What is known about the crime so far
The body was inside a 200-liter plastic drum. It had the face covered, one hand amputated, and the penis severed.
The remains were wrapped in rags. They also found bloodstained children's clothing near the drum, which caused further shock.
A freight truck used to transport the corpse was identified thanks to the area's security cameras.

The route of the body and the "chicken" excuse
Witnesses reported that several occupants of the vehicle asked the driver to stop to throw out "chicken giblets." In reality, it was the victim's body. That detail was key to guiding the investigation.
The partner's report triggered raids
Hours after the discovery, the man's partner reported that the crime occurred in a house on Guaminí Street. Based on that statement, the police conducted several raids. There are already at least two people arrested.
The case was transferred to the Federal Police
Due to its severity and complexity, the Bonaerense transferred the case to the Federal Police. The Morón Division, led by Commissioner Andrés Combin, took charge of the investigation.
Alejandro Ojeda is also involved, in coordination with Prosecutor Diego Rulli.
What is the main hypothesis of the investigators
One of the detainees directly accused his boss of having executed the crime. The motive would be an alleged sexual abuse.
The victim was allegedly killed as retaliation for a case of abuse against a young woman. That version emerged in one of the first raids.
What the autopsy of the body revealed
The victim, whose identity was not disclosed, was brutally murdered. His fingers were cut off, he was shot with a carbine, and his skull was crushed.
After killing him, they mutilated him before moving the body. The forensic examinations confirmed extremely violent injuries.
