After the defeat against Huracán, about 50 members of "La Butteler" showed up at the morning practice this Thursday. They demanded more attitude, spoke with the captains, and requested a list of players who do not wish to continue
The defeat against Huracán left San Lorenzo engulfed in a climate of maximum tension. Just a few days after losing the classic match held at the Nuevo Gasómetro, around 50 members of "La Butteler" approached the team's training on Thursday and had a talk with team leaders and Néstor Gorosito.
The meeting took place during the morning practice and had as main interlocutors Nicolás Tripichio and Alexis Cuello, captain and vice-captain of the Ciclón respectively. The message from the fans pointed directly to the team's attitude and the need for those who do not want to continue at the club to step aside.

According to reports, the fans asked the leaders to create a list of players who do not want to continue with the team. The demand was accompanied by a condition for the coaching staff: if any player was included in that list, Pipo Gorosito should not use them for the rest of the semester. "Those who do not want to be here must leave", was one of the phrases heard during the meeting.
The conversation with the players did not include the presence of club officials or coaching staff members. Once the dialogue with the team was over, the fans also exchanged words with Gorosito and conveyed the same demand.
The situation arises amid a worrying start for the coach's cycle. Since his arrival, San Lorenzo has achieved one victory, added a draw, and suffered three defeats, in addition to being eliminated in the round of 32 of the Copa Argentina against Deportivo Riestra and from the Copa Sudamericana in the group stage. In the Torneo Clausura, the team is currently last in Zone A with only 3 points.
The bad moment deepened with the loss to Huracán, which was the first for the Cuervo at home in almost 25 years and provoked a strong reaction from the fans. At the stadium entrances, several banners appeared with messages against the team: "They didn't lose a classic. They lost their dignity", "Apologize to the members and go out to win" and "In San Lorenzo, classics are won".
This is not the first time a group of fans has shown up at a training session to demand explanations. A recent precedent occurred in 2024, when around 100 supporters interrupted a practice amid the departure of Rubén Darío Insúa. This time, the message was directed especially at the team leaders and the coach.
With this grim outlook, San Lorenzo will need to try to put the conflict behind them with a match ahead. Next Saturday, they will host Unión at the Nuevo Gasómetro, in a setting that will again be marked by pressure and the need for an immediate reaction.
