International brands return to Argentine shopping malls: which ones are they and where are they opening
FARM Rio, Sandro, Montblanc, and other international brands are returning to the country's most exclusive shopping malls
Sandro, FARM Rio, Mont Blanc, and Adolfo Domínguez will once again have a direct presence in Argentina. Their stores will be located in the main shopping malls in Buenos Aires.
The arrival is part of a wave of returns of international brands aiming to attract foreign tourists and reposition themselves in the country.

Which international brands are coming to Argentina in 2025?
The trend, which began in 2024, is consolidating in 2025 with more openings of foreign brands. The focus will be on fashion, luxury, and lifestyle.
Grupo IRSA, operator of the country's main shopping centers, has confirmed the new openings. Among the confirmed brands are:
- Sandro (France)
- Maje (France)
- FARM Rio (Brazil)
- Adolfo Domínguez (Spain)
- Mont Blanc (Germany)
- The Kooples (France)
There will also be news for Under Armour and other global labels seeking to gain ground in the Argentine market.

Where will these brands open?
The new stores will be located in Alcorta Shopping, Patio Bullrich, and Alto Palermo, all managed by IRSA.
Sandro and Maje will open in Alcorta, while Adolfo Domínguez and Mont Blanc will do so in Patio Bullrich. FARM Rio is also coming to Alcorta, brought by the Argentine group behind Markova.

Luxury and "ready-to-wear" stores
The stores will range from 100 to 200 m² (1,076 to 2,153 square feet), in key locations within the shopping malls. In the case of Victoria's Secret, its flagship in Alto Palermo occupies 400 m² (4,306 square feet).
IRSA has already created a specialized team to assist international brands in their entry into Argentina. The goal is to ensure an arrival "at the desired level."
Who is bringing FARM Rio to the country?
The Argentine group Markova has signed an exclusive licensing and distribution agreement with FARM Rio. The plan includes between 8 and 10 stores in 5 years in Argentina and Uruguay.

Markova is in charge of everything: store management, e-commerce, marketing, public relations, and customer service. FARM Rio, meanwhile, retains creative control.
What is Sandro and why is its arrival important?
Sandro is coming to the country for the first time. It is a French brand founded in 1984 and part of the SMCP group, which also owns Maje.

Its Parisian chic style targets the accessible luxury segment. It has a global presence in cities such as Paris, Milan, London, and New York.
The store in Alcorta Shopping will be a flagship store and will be one of the focal points of the brand's relaunch in South America.
Other brands that have recently returned
This phenomenon is not isolated. In the past year, iconic brands have also returned to the country:
- Victoria's Secret, with stores in Unicenter and Alto Palermo
- Bath & Body Works, with stores in Unicenter and Galerías Pacífico
- Decathlon, with plans to open up to 20 stores in the country
- Indian, a Uruguayan brand that has already opened its flagship on Florida Street

This renewed interest contrasts with recent years, when brands such as Falabella or Nike withdrew or sold their local operations.
Are there other brands in negotiations?
According to reports, the Italian Giorgio Armani is also in negotiations to return, although IRSA has not yet officially confirmed it.
