Iran's terrorist regime targeted Javier Milei for defending Israel

The Iranian dictatorship questioned Argentina at the United Nations for supporting the Jewish state

The terrorist regime of Iran questioned Argentine President Javier Milei for his unconditional support for Israel.

Argentina's historic decision to support Israel, the only free democracy in the Middle East, caused a harsh official response from Iran at the United Nations.

In a document submitted by the Iranian mission in New York, Tehran directly accuses Argentina and Milei of aligning themselves with what they call "the aggression of the Zionist regime", referring to Israel, and of supporting the recent bombings against Iranian nuclear facilities.

Alongside Argentina, the Iranian regime also mentions Canada, the Czech Republic, and Paraguay as countries that "have declared their support for acts of aggression".

Milei's statements leave no room for doubt. The president has described Iran as "Argentina's enemy" and has defined the Persian country as "a theocracy that wants to exterminate the only free democracy in the Middle East," in a clear allusion to Israel.

The Argentine president also explicitly supported the military operations of both Israel and the United States against Iranian strategic targets.

The Iranian offensive against Milei comes just days before the 31st anniversary of the AMIA attack, the most serious terrorist attack on Argentine soil, perpetrated by Hezbollah under orders from Iran, according to the Argentine judiciary. In that context, the defense of the Jewish state also becomes, for Milei, a form of national vindication.

With a foreign policy decidedly aligned with the West and with the State of Israel, Javier Milei reaffirms his place as one of the few Latin American leaders willing to denounce Iranian terrorism without ambiguity.
