Franco Colapinto will star in an unprecedented event in the City of Buenos Aires. After different versions that anticipated it, it was finally confirmed that next Sunday, April 26, the Argentine driver will hold an exhibition with a Formula 1 car in the middle of Palermo, in a show that promises to attract thousands of fans

.

The Road Show will take place on a two-kilometer urban circuit that will cover Avenida del Libertador and Avenida Sarmiento, in the immediate vicinity of the Monument to the Spaniards.

Two main exhibitions will be held

there and will be divided into different sectors: one open and free and others exclusive for sale (Fan Zone, Grandstands and Hospitality with differentiated access and unique views of the track). In the Fan Zone there will be entertainment proposals, brand activities and interactive spaces, while the Hospitality space will also offer Garage Tours with access to Boxes

.

The possibility of completing this event, which at first seemed difficult due to the international calendar, came after the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, which freed up space on the agenda of both the driver and the team.

The Argentinian driver expressed his excitement at performing in the country: "Driving a Formula 1 car at home will be one of the most special moments of my life. It's my way of giving back, even a little, all the support and love I received from a very young age, which drives me every day to continue dreaming of achieving all my career goals

.”

“Every message, every flag and every breath was always there. This is for all of you, to enjoy this special moment together,” he added. In addition, on his social networks, he invited: "See you at home, everyone come

.”

For the exhibition, Colapinto will drive a Lotus E20, a model used in the 2012 season, adapted to the Alpine colors. This is a car with a naturally aspirated Renault V8 engine, prior to the hybrid era, which guarantees a characteristic sound show

for fans.

The organization of the event was promoted by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires and the support of private companies, which will also form part of the interactive spaces for the public. Expectations are high not only because of the call, but also because of the impact it can have on aspirations to recover an official Formula 1 race in the country

.

It will also be a special occasion in the career of the 22-year-old driver, who has never competed in cars in Argentina. Trained abroad since its inception in single-seaters, Colapinto will thus have his first contact with the local public behind the wheel of a Formula 1, in an event that aims to remain in the history of

national motorsport.

How to get tickets for the Colapinto Road Show

Ticket sales will be through Enigma Tickets and will have two instances. The first is an exclusive pre-sale for those who use the Mercado Pago credit card, which will open next Monday, April 6 at 4 p.m., and can be paid in three interest-free installments. The rest will be enabled a day later, on Tuesday, April 7, at the same time and any payment method can be used
