Israel eliminated the 'Butcher of Tehran,' Ahmad-Reza Radan
The ailing Tehran police chief was a notable casualty on this day, meanwhile, for the Israel Defense Forces
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed this Sunday the elimination of Ahmadreza Radan, the chief of Tehran Police, renowned for his brutal methods of repression and his ideological fanaticism. Radan, internationally nicknamed "the Butcher of Tehran", was targeted in a precise attack as part of Operation "Rising Lion", an Israeli military offensive against the repressive and nuclear infrastructure of the Iranian regime.
Radan had become a symbol of state terror in Iran. From his position in the Persian capital, he publicly ordered women who defied the Islamic dress code to be beaten until they suffered irreversible harm, and he personally supervised public executions of homosexuals, who were hanged from cranes as a warning to the rest of society. His downfall represents a severe blow to the internal structure of the social control apparatus of the ayatollahs' regime.

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, celebrated the success of the military operation and emphasized that the offensive is not directed against the Iranian people, but against the "murderous Islamic regime that oppresses and impoverishes them."
"In the last 24 hours, we've eliminated senior military commanders, top nuclear scientists, the most important enrichment facility of the Islamic regime, and a large part of its ballistic missile arsenal," Netanyahu stated in a message published on the X network.
In addition to Radan, Israel also eliminated Mohamed Kazemi, chief of Iranian intelligence and the top official responsible for internal espionage and operational repression of the feared Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The Israeli premier confirmed that the operation struck strategic targets at the nuclear facilities of Natanz and Fordow, and that Hossein Salami and Esmail Qaani, other senior IRGC commanders, as well as several members of the Iranian General Staff, were killed.

"The battle between the lion and the tyrant of time is not a casual battle," posted the official account of the Israel Defense Forces, accompanied by a symbolic illustration: the Lion of Judah facing a caricature of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, depicted as a sinister old man surrounded by snakes.
In a political gesture of strong symbolic and cultural significance, Netanyahu appealed directly to Iranian citizens: "Our fight is not against the Iranian people. Our fight is against the murderous Islamic regime. This is your opportunity to stand up and make your voice heard. Woman, Life, Freedom. Zan, Zendegi, Azadi."
Citing the historic friendship between the Hebrew and Persian peoples since the time of Cyrus the Great, Netanyahu concluded with a message of encouragement in Hebrew, English, and Persian: "Mardome shaja-e Iran, noor bar tariki piruz ast. Brave people of Iran, light triumphs over darkness."
Finally, the Israeli leader denounced that the Iranian regime planned international assassinations, including an attack against U.S. President Donald Trump: "Yes, they want to kill him. He's their number one enemy. He's a decisive leader. He won't allow them to get the nuclear bomb," Netanyahu stated.
