Just a few days before the Monaco Grand Prix, Ferrari took a significant step thinking about its future. This Wednesday, the Italian team confirmed the renewal of Charles Leclerc, who will remain with the team for several more seasons.
Although the Tifosi team did not specify the exact duration of the new contract, various specialized media indicated that the agreement significantly extends the relationship that both parties had in place, potentially lasting beyond 2030, and increases his current base salary.
Leclerc celebrated the continuity through a message released by the team. "I couldn't be happier to continue this journey with Ferrari. For me, it has always been much more than just a team. It is the one I have wanted to belong to and dreamed of being part of since I was a child, and after all these years, it has become a second family," he expressed.

The Monegasque also highlighted the relationship built with the team over the past years. "Together we have shared incredible moments and some more difficult ones, but I believe in this team more than ever. I am deeply grateful that we continue to work side by side to achieve our common goal of bringing the World Championship back to Maranello," he added.
"Being a Ferrari driver is a privilege, but also a responsibility that I never take for granted. I will continue to give absolutely everything of myself to return this team to the place it deserves: at the top," he commented, closing his statement with gratitude to the team and an emotional phrase: "The dream is still alive, and I am proud to continue pursuing it alongside you."
The renewal was also celebrated by Fred Vasseur, the team's director, who emphasized the driver's identification with Ferrari's values. "Throughout these seasons, we have seen him grow to become not only one of the strongest drivers in Formula 1 but also a person fully integrated into the team and everything that Ferrari represents," he noted.

Since his arrival at Ferrari, Leclerc has established himself as one of the most important drivers in the category. He has accumulated eight victories, more than fifty podiums, and a notable number of pole positions, in addition to finishing runner-up in the world in 2022.
With 155 Grand Prix races contested with the Italian team, the Monegasque is already one of the drivers with the most experience in the history of the Scuderia and continues to climb positions in the brand's historical records. His continuity reflects Ferrari's confidence in a project that aims to end a title drought that has lasted since 2007 among drivers and since 2008 among constructors.
