The return of Gran Hermano promises to be one of the major television events of 2026. Telefe is already working on a special edition that will combine anonymous participants and well-known figures, under the title Gran Hermano Generación Dorada.
Although the production is maintaining strict secrecy regarding the casting, in recent hours the first confirmed names have been leaked, and they have not gone unnoticed.
It was Ángel de Brito who broke the news on LAM (América TV), assuring that two former participants from the previous season will once again be part of the format, although in different roles.
"I'm going to reveal it. One will enter the house, he will enter the house and she will be Laura Ubfal's colleague on the panel," the host announced, generating anticipation in the studio.
Minutes later, he confirmed the names: "He is Thiago Medina and she is Daniela Celis," De Brito revealed about the first people called for Gran Hermano Generación Dorada, and added: "With everything they've been through, I really like her."
Meanwhile, panelist Fefe Bongiorno, Daniela's colleague at Luzu TV, celebrated the news and highlighted her addition to the panel: "I'm telling you, Daniela as a panelist—beyond Thiago's situation—is going to do very well."
The announcement quickly sparked reactions on social media. Fans of the reality show recalled that Thiago and Daniela experienced an intense love story inside the house during the 2022-2023 edition. Their relationship, which went through breakups, reconciliations, and even a pregnancy, made them one of the most popular couples of the season.
La famosa pareja volverá a estar unida
Now, with this new edition, fans are wondering what their reunion in front of the cameras will be like. While Thiago Medina will return as a participant, Daniela will debut in a new television role, joining Laura Ubfal on the debate panel that analyzes the game's strategies and conflicts.
In parallel, Telefe confirmed the renewal of Santiago del Moro's contract, who will continue to be the host of Gran Hermano. Through his social media, the journalist and presenter shared his excitement about the new agreement with the channel:
"Friends, I'm very happy. Contract signed with Telefe for five more years," he announced in his Instagram stories.
Del Moro, who recently won the Martín Fierro de Oro, thanked the channel and the viewers for their trust: "Thank you to the channel for the opportunity and the trust in my work, and to you for always being there."
