The President led an event in Tres de Febrero in support of Santilli and the provincial organization

President Javier Milei led a massive event in Tres de Febrero, accompanied by Diego Santilli, the top candidate for national deputy for La Libertad Avanza in Buenos Aires province. Upon returning from his successful trip to the United States, he aimed to consolidate the libertarian vote in Buenos Aires territory.
"It's civilization or barbarism. It's Milei or the Kirchners," the President exclaimed in front of hundreds of residents, during a walk through the center of the district governed by libertarian Diego Valenzuela. The president warned that much more than an election is at stake on October 26: "It will be decided whether Argentina continues on the path of freedom or returns to the backwardness, misery, and corruption of Kirchnerism."

The visit had strong symbolic value: Tres de Febrero was the site of the Battle of Caseros, which marked the end of the Rosas regime and the beginning of national organization. Milei alluded to that historical episode to compare the current political situation with that confrontation between civilization and barbarism, warning that Argentina is once again torn between freedom and Kirchnerist populism.
Meanwhile, Diego Santilli reaffirmed the message of unity and electoral clarity on social media. "On October 26, the joke ends for all those who pretend to be clever by trying to confuse people. It's simple: check box 1, purple ballot," he wrote on X (formerly Twitter), referring to the single ballot campaign and the attempts by opposition sectors to sow confusion among voters.

With the event in Tres de Febrero, the government seeks to consolidate the libertarian presence in the province, where almost 40% of the national electoral roll is concentrated. Santilli and Karen Reichardt, his running mate, aim to capture the independent vote and to encourage participation from the more than five million Buenos Aires residents who did not vote in the last election.
The event made it clear that Milei and Santilli are leading the same crusade: to consolidate change and prevent the return of Kirchnerism in the country's largest province. With a clear message and mobilized supporters, the libertarian administration seeks to close the campaign by showing order, conviction, and unity behind the freedom project.
