Javier Milei Will Travel to Israel and Sign a Key Agreement in the Fight Against Terrorism
The president will arrive in Tel Aviv on March 23, where he will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on security.
Argentinian President Javier Milei will travel to Israel again this month to advance cooperation in the fight against terrorism.
He will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and sign a Memorandum of Understanding on security, within the framework of the strategic alignment that Argentina has consolidated with the Hebrew State and United States.
The Argentinian leader is scheduled to arrive in Tel Aviv on March 23 and, during his four-day stay, he will develop a high-level agenda that is still being defined. Official sources confirmed that Milei will be received by Netanyahu and that his presence in Israel will include key meetings with high-ranking officials.

Accompanied by his sister and general secretary, Karina Milei, and by Foreign Minister Gerardo Werthein, the president will reaffirm his commitment to the Israeli cause and his condemnation of the terrorist group Hamas, which he has repeatedly pointed out as a threat to international stability.
The trip reinforces the geopolitical stance that Milei has maintained since the beginning of his term, marking a departure from previous administrations and positioning Argentina as an active partner of Western democracies in the fight against terrorism.
Support for Israel
In the lead-up to the visit, Prime Minister Netanyahu publicly thanked Milei for having decreed two days of mourning in Argentina in memory of the children Ariel and Kfir Bibas, killed in Gaza by Hamas.
"It should serve as an inspiration to all leaders of the civilized world. I look forward to welcoming him to Israel soon," expressed the Israeli leader in a message on social media.

Meanwhile, the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, acknowledged Argentina's support and lamented not having been able to rescue the minors in time. In a column published in Infobae, Herzog expressed his regret over the violence unleashed by the terrorist group and highlighted Milei's solidarity with the Israeli people.
International recognition of the Argentinian president was reflected last January when he was awarded the so-called "Jewish Nobel Prize," granted by the Genesis Prize Foundation, which highlighted his firm stance in favor of Israel and his defense of the only Jewish state.
An international realignment
Milei's trip to Israel is part of a broader foreign policy strategy, which has led Argentina to strengthen its ties with Western countries and to take a clear stance on international conflicts.
In the last vote of the UN General Assembly, the Argentinian government reaffirmed its alignment with Israel and the United States by abstaining from a resolution on the war in Ukraine, in line with Washington's diplomatic strategy.
With this visit, Milei not only reaffirms his commitment to security and international cooperation but also reinforces the image of an Argentina aligned with the West and distanced from ambivalent positions in foreign policy.
