Piccirillo was arrested for planting a weapon and cocaine on a businessman and for attempting to flee at the time of his arrest
The hostJésica Cirio officially filed for divorce from Elías Piccirillo, just over a month after confirming their separation. The decision came after the scandalous arrest of the businessman, an event that marked the definitive end of their marriage.
Journalist Martín Candalaft reported that Cirio carried out the process unilaterally at Family Court No. 1 in Tigre. According to him, the model made this decision after learning about the judicial charges against her ex-husband.
A unilateral divorce
Meanwhile, Guido Záffora revealed that the couple continued living on the same property, although in separate houses, until the time of Piccirillo's arrest. In fact, the host was present during the procedure.
Judicial investigation
The judicial scandal not only affected the model's husband but also put Cirio in the spotlight of justice. On the DDM program, it was reported that the lawyer of the alleged fraud victim requested an investigation into the calls made from the cell phones registered in the host's name. The goal is to determine if she was aware of her then-husband's activities.
A year ago, Cirio had introduced Piccirillo on social media as her partner. Since December 2022, they had been living together, and in May 2023, they celebrated their wedding with a lavish party at the Palacio Duhau.
However, at the beginning of 2024, it emerged that the relationship was in crisis, although the reasons were not known at that time. With the subsequent charges against the businessman, the events took on a new perspective, and the model is also under the scrutiny of justice.
Piccirillo's arrest
Piccirillo was arrested last Thursday in Nordelta, Tigre district, as part of a series of 11 raids carried out by the Naval Prefecture. The operation was conducted at the request of prosecutor Franco Picardi and with the authorization of Judge Ramos, who is substituting for Federal Court No. 11, headed by Sebastián Casanello.

The maneuver in Recoleta and those involved
The prosecutor attributed to Piccirillo a maneuver that occurred on January 18 in Recoleta against a businessman linked to the crypto world, with whom he had a long-standing dispute over economic issues. According to the investigation, in this action, he had the collaboration of six City police officers and a former Federal Police agent, all arrested on the same Thursday. The detainees were identified as the executors of the plan.
False address and prior suspicions
Sources with access to the case indicated that during the certification of addresses to locate the suspects, it was discovered that the address provided by Piccirillo in Nordelta actually belonged to a friend's house.
This irregularity reinforced prosecutor Picardi's suspicions, who already considered Piccirillo's arrest necessary. According to case sources, this decision was made 24 hours after Judge Casanello granted him exemption from imprisonment, at a time when the case was beginning to gain greater public notoriety. Piccirillo remains detained as his release was denied.
