Justice ruled in favor of Cami Mayan in her dispute with Alexis Mac Allister
Cami Mayan obtained a favorable ruling to continue with the claim for assets and the million-dollar compensation
The legal battle between Cami Mayan and Alexis Mac Allister had an initial favorable outcome for the influencer. The Argentine Justice ruled that the litigation with the footballer must take place in the country, despite his attempt to move it to the United Kingdom, where he currently resides.
Mayan had filed a lawsuit after her separation from the Premier League player, claiming assets she couldn't recover and a substantial financial compensation for the time shared during the relationship.
The Justice supported Mayan and denied the transfer of the trial
The panelist of Patria y Familia (Luzu TV) argued that conducting the process in the United Kingdom would be extremely costly and unfair, as she returned to live in Argentina after the breakup. She also recalled that her relationship with Mac Allister began in the country and that both are of Argentine nationality.
Civil Court Number 4 endorsed her request, highlighting the need to guarantee her access to a fair judicial process. "Giving the plaintiff the opportunity to access a process where it is debated whether what is being claimed is appropriate or not, an issue that can't be debated in a foreign jurisdiction," the ruling cited.

Thus, the Justice rejected the footballer's attempt to take the case abroad, dealing an initial blow to his defense strategy. The resolution, however, doesn't imply a verdict on the substance of the matter.
The million-dollar claim is still ongoing
Although this decision represents a preliminary victory for Mayan, the core of the litigation still remains unsolved: the financial compensation she demands. According to information disseminated by the program LAM, the influencer is claiming a sum close to six million dollars.
Yanina Latorre, a panelist on the show hosted by Ángel de Brito, described the figure as "crazy" and expressed skepticism about the possibility of Mayan obtaining that amount. In the same vein, Fernanda Iglesias recalled that after the separation, the footballer provided her with a sum of money and covered the rent for an apartment for his ex-partner.
Despite the trial taking place in Argentina, Mac Allister won't have to return to the country to face the process. His legal team will continue to represent him as the case progresses.
With this initial resolution, the judicial conflict between Cami Mayan and Alexis Mac Allister became even more media-focused. The ruling marked an important precedent, but the dispute remains open and new developments are expected in the coming months.
